The Bianconeri Name Previous Azzurri Head Coach Luciano Spalletti

The Serie A powerhouse have appointed former Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti to lead the team for the remainder of the campaign.

The 66-year-old replaces the Croatian manager, who was let go after the Serie A side's defeat by Lazio last weekend.

Tudor had joined the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but exited following a seven-month stint following a string of eight matches without a victory.

Under Spalletti, Napoli clinched the Serie A championship in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.

Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 but were eliminated in the round of 16 by Switzerland.

Nonetheless, Italy dismissed Spalletti in June post a qualifying defeat against Norway, putting Italy in danger of missing a third straight World Cup.

Spalletti's managerial career includes Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Serie A and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.

Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday moving them to seventh position in the league - trailing leaders Napoli by six points after nine matches.

Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, after recording one defeat and two ties in the initial three fixtures.
