The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
